Boosting your self-esteem and confidence can help you realize an empowered you, thereby moving your toward your pursuit of success in life. Read on to discover 3 ways to supercharge your self esteem and confidence.

Confidence is generally described as a state of being certain, either that a hypothesis or prediction is correct, or that a chosen course of action is the best or most effective given the circumstances. Confidence in oneself, or the lack thereof is what stops people from getting tightly focused on what they want to achieve. That little voice telling them they can't do something is their biggest UN-motivator. What can YOU do to gain confidence?

You must be confident in who and whose you are. There is no sense in moving on from here until you brand it in your heat and soul that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are God's workmanship created in the image of Him.

1. Face Your Fear: Is there something you are afraid of? Face it full on. Doing something scary and overcoming the fear is a fantastic way to boost your confidence. So go on, jump out of that plane (with a parachute of course), drive that car, speak in front of a large crowd, ask for a promotion, or whatever it is that scares you. You'll feel absolutely brilliant once it's done. Embrace II Timothy 1:7 God has not given us a spirit of fear.....

2. Love Yourself: The bible tells us to love others as we love ourselves. Could this be the problem with most of our relationships, we don't love ourselves?

This can take a bit of practice and looks really funny, but try it, it works. When you wake up, give yourself a great big hug. Do the same when it's time for sleep.

You've heard this said a million times before: "How can you expect others to love you if you don't love yourself?" It's true. Practice the morning and evening hugs for 2 weeks, maybe 3 weeks if you're the stubborn type, and you'll see how well it works.

3. Eliminate excuses: It's important that you resist the urge to practice the comparison, if only mentality. In short, excuses for why you could've, would've, should've. It may sound something like the following;

If only......

The above two words have caused shattered dreams, broken relationships, missed opportunities, etc. does the following sound familiar? If only I had more money, if only I could dance, if only I had an education like so and so, if only I was thinner, if only I could gain more weight, if only I was like so and so.

You know what? Life is short and it is too short to dwell on scenarios of if only. If you can change it or improve on it... just do it. If not accept what is and embrace the moments of your life. Live, live, live! Don't come to the last days of your life with the final statement..... I could have lived a good and full life..... If only.
